Two Antiguan entrepreneurs have officially begun their specialized fellowship placements in the United States, representing Antigua and Barbuda on an international stage. According to Antigua Observer, Joshuanette Francis and Canice James transitioned into their respective placements in Washington, DC and California following a transformative orientation held in Texas.
The pair are among more than 200 emerging leaders participating in the 2026 Young Leaders of the Americas Initiative (YLAI), a prestigious program that connects rising entrepreneurs from across the Western Hemisphere with professional opportunities in the United States.
As reported by Antigua Observer, both Francis and James are carrying the twin-island nation's flag as part of this year's cohort, marking a significant achievement for Antiguan entrepreneurship on an international platform.
