Prime Minister Gaston Browne has firmly rejected claims that the Antigua and Barbuda Labour Party's election manifesto was produced using artificial intelligence, asserting that the document represents genuine work by party members.

According to Antigua News Room, Browne made the remarks during an appearance on the Browne and Browne programme, where he stated the manifesto was developed internally and drawn from policies already being pursued by his administration.

"None of the content of this manifesto is ChatGPT generated," Browne said. "All this is actually work that myself and others in the party would have done that we have actually collated into a manifesto."

He added that the document is focused on "setting what will happen within the next few years and where we're going in the future."

Browne's comments come amid criticism from political opponents regarding the substance of party platforms ahead of the general election. He made the remarks as he transitioned into outlining elements of the ABLP's economic agenda, including plans to move toward a livable wage.
