Two masked men armed with a machete broke into a private residence along Penny Lane, Upper Fort Road, in a pre-dawn robbery that left two occupants targeted at knifepoint.
According to Antigua Observer, the incident occurred on May 5th, with the intruders allegedly gaining entry through an eastern-facing window that was closed but left unlocked. The mosquito screen on the window was forcibly removed to allow access.
The two occupants of the home were robbed during the ordeal. Authorities are believed to be investigating the circumstances surrounding the break-in.
