Antigua and Barbuda received valuable hosting guidance from a former CHOGM host nation last Wednesday, as the country continues preparations for the 2026 Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting.
According to Antigua Observer, the advice was shared during a question-and-answer session featuring the Commonwealth representative and Samoa's High Commissioner, Her Excellency Francella Strickland. The session took place during a lunch break at Garden Grill, running from 2 to 3:30 pm.
Her Excellency Strickland represented Samoa — a country with firsthand experience hosting the prestigious Commonwealth summit — and used the occasion to offer insights to Antiguan and Barbudan officials as they look ahead to their own hosting duties in 2026.
