Guyanese President Irfaan Ali has extended his congratulations to Prime Minister Gaston Browne following Browne's re-election to a fourth term leading Antigua and Barbuda.
According to Antigua News Room, President Ali described the electoral result as a decisive victory, saying it reflected the strong support of the Antiguan and Barbudan people and their continued confidence in Prime Minister Browne's leadership.
In his statement, President Ali expressed his intention to work closely with Browne to advance shared regional priorities, with a particular focus on strengthening integration and cooperation across the Caribbean.
The Guyanese president further stated that both nations would press forward in their efforts to build a more resilient, prosperous, and secure Caribbean Community.
President Ali also extended his best wishes to Prime Minister Browne and his incoming administration as they begin the new term in office.
