Trevor Walker has successfully defended his seat in the Barbuda constituency, securing victory for the Barbuda People's Movement (BPM) in Thursday's General Elections. According to Antigua.news, Walker captured more than 60% of the votes cast, delivering a decisive mandate from Barbudan voters.

Walker's win reinforces the BPM's firm grip on the sister island, with constituents once again placing their confidence in the long-standing representative and his party's platform.

The Antigua and Barbuda Labour Party (ABLP), which contested the seat, failed to make significant inroads in Barbuda. The majority of voters backed Walker at the polls, leaving the ABLP unable to mount a serious challenge to the BPM's entrenched hold on the constituency.
