Rawdon Turner has retained the St. Peter constituency for the Antigua and Barbuda Labour Party, capturing more than 70% of the vote in Thursday's general election, according to Antigua News Room.
Turner's victory over United Progressive Party challenger George Wehner was decisive from the outset. The incumbent built an early lead that continued to widen as the count progressed, leaving little doubt about the outcome.
The result further consolidates the ABLP's grip on St. Peter and contributes to the party's overall national performance in the general election.
