Charles 'Max' Fernandez has successfully retained the St. John's Rural North seat for the Antigua and Barbuda Labour Party (ABLP), defeating United Progressive Party (UPP) challenger Malaka Parker in Thursday's General Elections.
According to Antigua News Room, early results pointed to a commanding performance by the incumbent, underscoring the ABLP's continued strength in the constituency.
Fernandez secured 1,301 votes to Parker's 833, with 20 ballots rejected. The margin of victory signals a firm hold on the seat for the ruling party.
