A new Emergency Medical Services (EMS) station and ambulance have been commissioned at the Glanvilles Polyclinic, bolstering emergency response capabilities in the eastern part of Antigua.

According to Antigua Observer, the commissioning ceremony took place on Tuesday and was attended by Minister of Health, Wellness and the Environment Sir Molwyn Joseph, along with senior health officials.

The initiative is aimed at improving emergency response times and expanding access to healthcare services for residents in the St. Philip's North area and the broader eastern section of the island.
