Financial approval has been granted for the construction of two new community centres in Five Islands Village and All Saints Village, according to Antigua News Room. The announcement came via a joint update from ABLP candidates Michael M. Joseph and Lamin Newton.

The two candidates described the projects as part of a coordinated effort to expand community infrastructure across their respective constituencies. Joseph is leading development in Five Islands, while Newton is spearheading the initiative in All Saints.

Both facilities are expected to serve as community hubs, hosting youth activities, social programmes and engagement events designed to strengthen local support systems.

As reported by Antigua News Room, the initiative was characterised as a collaborative effort, with both candidates working toward delivering facilities capable of supporting long-term community development.

Further details regarding construction timelines and project specifications are expected to be released in the coming weeks.
