According to Antigua Observer, Joseph made the commitment while speaking at a UPP rally at Thwaites Corner, framing the closure of the cancer centre as a failure of leadership that is placing an unacceptable burden on those battling the disease.
Joseph argued that cancer patients and their families are being failed by a system that forces them to navigate delays, financial strain, and an absence of clear answers at a time when speed and access to treatment can be the difference between life and death.
