A motorcyclist was transported to hospital on Sunday after a traffic accident on Jonas Road, which occurred as an Antigua and Barbuda Labour Party (ABLP) motorcade passed through the area, according to Antigua News Room.
Eyewitnesses reported that motorcade participants stopped promptly to render assistance to the injured rider, who appeared to be in considerable pain following the collision.
The man was taken to hospital for medical treatment, though his current condition remains unknown. No official statement has been issued regarding the circumstances of the crash.
Authorities are expected to investigate the incident. What caused the accident has not yet been determined.
