The Ministry of Works has advised the public that major infrastructure works will be carried out on All Saints Road (ASR) between Bottom Village and the Pentecostal Church, with detours taking effect from 7:00 pm on Monday, 27th April 2026 until 7:00 am the following morning.
Motorists travelling out of town and approaching Midway Service Station in the direction of All Saints — with a final destination beyond the work site — will be directed along Freeman's Village main road. Those travelling into town and approaching the All Saints Service Station in the direction of St. John's, with a destination beyond the work site, will be redirected via Jonas Road.
Residents in the immediate vicinity of the work site will be granted local access. All businesses in the area will remain open throughout the duration of the works.
The Ministry is urging motorists to follow all instructions from personnel on the ground, as heavy-duty equipment will be operating in close proximity to the road. Stakeholders are asked to adjust their travel plans and allow for possible delays.
The overnight works form part of the broader All Saints Road Project being carried out by the Government of Antigua and Barbuda. Members of the public with telephone queries may contact the Project Implementation Management Unit at 562-9173.
