What was once a community of cramped, ageing wooden structures is rapidly transforming into 150 modern condominium units. According to Antigua Observer, Prime Minister Gaston Browne has confirmed the Booby Alley Housing Renewal Project remains on schedule for handover by October 30th.
Prime Minister Browne toured the project site on Friday alongside Chinese Ambassador to Antigua and Barbuda, Her Excellency, as construction work on the development continues to advance.
The project represents a significant shift for the Booby Alley community, replacing deteriorating older housing stock with purpose-built modern residential units. The development is among the government's key housing initiatives aimed at improving living conditions for residents.
As reported by Antigua Observer, the October 30th target date signals the government's commitment to delivering the completed units to residents before the end of the year.
