Harney Motors has stated it has received no official confirmation that vehicles supplied to the local market are among those flagged in a series of international recall notices, according to Antigua Observer.
The company, which serves as the authorized dealer for Kia, Ford, Toyota, and Lexus in Antigua and Barbuda, is urging customers not to be alarmed. As reported by Antigua Observer, the models cited in recent international recall notices may not apply to vehicles sold locally.
Harney Motors indicated that the recall alerts, which have circulated internationally, do not necessarily extend to the Antiguan and Barbudan market, and that customers should await further official guidance before drawing conclusions about their vehicles.
